OMG NO, SERIOUSLY GUYS. THIS IS NOT COOL. I HAD ONE OF THESE THE OTHER DAY. I WAS JUST CHILLING OUTSIDE DURING THE NIGHT AND RELAXING, YOU KNOW HOW IT IS. AND I WAS ENJOYING MY BLOOD POPSICLE AND THEN ALL OF A SUDDEN MY FANGS HURT AND I’M BURNING, LIKE LITERALLY BURNING, AND MY SKIN START TO BLISTER AND I’M LIKE ”OH MY GOD WHAT IS THAT’ AND I SEE THE CRUCIFIX AND I’M LIKE ‘DUDE, WHAT THE HELL?!?!’ SO I DROPPED THAT AND TURNED INTO A BAT AND FLEW AWAY INTO NIGHT.

Hats off to The GreenHouse vertical farm! In a 48’x48’ greenhouse, the farm grows 135,000 plants a year in Tower Gardens, using 5% of the water used by outdoor farming. The farm supplies Walt Disney World resorts, along with Emeril’s Orlando, Ritz Carlton, Marriott World Center & the Hilton with fresh greens and herbs year round. “We also have incredibly small losses, and the consistency of growing allows us to be able to deliver the same quantities weekly to our restaurants, making us a lot more reliable than “traditional” farms.”… Katherine Grandey, Co-Founder & Owner of The GreenHouse

Fixing broken make up!
So I got a shipment yesterday from drugstore.com, but one of the wet n’ wild eye shadows I ordered arrived broken :-( Thanks to pintress I was able to fix it asap.
Step 1: using a toothpick i smashed up the rest as best as I could
Step 2: using a straw to drop 99% alcohol onto the now powder make up. I used enough to wet the whole pallet.
Step 3: using the toothpick i smoothed out the now paste and waited 10 min.
Step4: Came back and used a kleenex to press down on the paste to compact it and smooth it out.
a few hours later it was dry and usable without the mess :-)
Oh YES I need dis.
I didn’t realize this was like a secret. I used to do this to all of my cracked shadows. Works like a charm.

Help get Autumn to NYC!
Hey guys! My friend Autumn is coming to NYC this April to show her artwork and comics at MoCCAfest, the Museum of Comic and Cartoon Art’s yearly convention for independent and small-press comic artists. Autumn is a queer Muslim woman who makes sweet fairytale-inspired comics featuring queer, Muslim, and POC characters, and she’s got a voice that’s sorely underrepresented in the comics community right now. MoCCA will give her an opportunity to share her work to a larger audience and network with other artists and publishers, so it’s a very important career step.
Unfortunately, Autumn lost her job earlier this year and was unemployed for a while; while she’s thankfully now employed again, she was counting on that income to be able to make it down here from Canada for the convention. Autumn’s currently fundraised enough money to cover her flight and travel expenses, but she still needs to cover printing costs for her comics.
Let’s help get her to at least $1,000 so she can get her work printed and use MoCCA to help boost her art career! In return for donations to her IndieGoGo, you can get digital copies of her comics and zines.
